Name: Edward "Eddie" Owen Montgomery Age: 26 Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual Profession: Chief Deputy to Sheriff Jane Winchester Notable Possessions: He carries a small gold brooch that has a picture of his wife and their four-year-old son on him at all times. His pistol is made of silver and engraved with his father's intials. The pistol was passed down to Eddie by his father. He has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. He normally wears a pair of work breeches, a plain white work shirt, a brown leather vest, and a pair of brown work-boots. He has a couple of suits that he keeps tucked away for formal ocassions. Eddie normally wears his silver Chief Deputy badge pinned to vest, but keeps it in his pocket when he's off duty to flash if someone's causing trouble at a saloon or something among those lines. He also almost always has a holster on with his pistol in it. Personality: Eddie is known for being one of the more mild-mannered officers on the force. Don't be fooled though, as he takes his job very seriously. Even though he objects to crime, he still thinks that criminals should have the right to fair trial, and a lawyer should be provided for those that can't afford one. He's also a gentleman, and even though he's married, he's not above opening doors for ladies and helping them carry heavy packages. Eddie believes that everyone should be treated equally, and has a great deal of admiration and respect towards the sheriff and female saloon owners. He can't stand rich, arrogant snobs that think the law is above him. He refuses to bribed or bought off, and therefore, the rich and powerful are not is biggest fan. History: Eddie was born the eldest son out of three boys, to farmers that lived south of Sedona. From a young age, he always admired the law enforcement and dreamed of becoming a sheriff one day that protected the town from evil-doers. His grandfather, a retired sheriff, loved this idea, and when Eddie was eight, started to teach him how to shoot. His parents, who objected at first, decided that they couldn't stop their son's dream, and that a sheriff would also make more money than a farmer even could. Eddie moved to Sedona when he was seventeen, where he quickly joined the local police force. The former sheriff, admired his skills, and said that there was hope for him to rise up in the ranks. Shortly after arriving in Sedona, Eddie fell in love with Sally James, the daughter of the owner of the local general store. When he first asked her father for his permission to wed Sally, he refused as Eddie had no home of his own, and felt that the two were two young for marriage. Eddie worked hard to build his own home, and when he was twenty-one, wed his sweetheart. When he was twenty-two, his son, Jack was born. Eddie was very excited to become a father, and hoped that this was the first of many children that he and his bride had. At age twenty-five, Eddie was made Chief Deputy to the knew Sheriff, Jack Winchester's daughter, Jane. Along with most of the town, most people didn't want anything to do with Eddie either, as even though he'd been on the force since he was seventeen, they still felt him to young to hold such a position. However, he did receive a little bit more respect than Jane, but only because he was a man. However, he stood firmly by the new sheriff, saying that he would stick with her to the end, and helped the town to gain the respect of the two young officials. He doesn't have much spare time, but when he's not working, Eddie can normally be found with his wife and four-year-old son. Place of Residence: Eddie lives in a small, but comfortable home close to the sheriff's office with his wife, Sally, and four-year-old son, Jack. The house has a small stable in the back where Eddie keeps his horse, Midnight, the family cow Gretchen, and a small chicken coop.
